TransWatch
TransWatch allows the effective management of delivery and collection tasks for
goods and services. TransWatch has been designed to operate on any Windows .net
platform. The user is provided with a run list of tasks in a defined order. Upon
selection, each job provides additional information such as address, contact, task
and detailed manifest. This is then displayed to the user and supported with additional
information relating to that task.
Other features include a vehicle check list, managed voice communication and the
opportunity to customise the standard application to meet more specific needs of
the customer.
TransWatch is typically used by companies with mobile resources in the field and
having an in-house job allocation and management system, who now wish to extend
that system out into the field.
TransWatch gives customers the ability to make this upgrade even if their existing
job management system provider does not support mobile resource management or the
mobile resource management element of their current job management system does not
meet the need of their business, e.g. it’s too rigid on the user choices, infrequent
reporting.
Data is despatched to the BluePort terminal from any third party job management
application via web services and BlueSphere’s hosted server. This server also manages
application updates and configuration and can, if required, provide location tracking
and vehicle performance management too.
This application is well suited to most industry sectors and has seen much success
to date in commercial waste management and Home delivery and courier services. With
specialist customisation, this application can meet the more specific requirements
of other industries such as the hazardous liquid waste collection and disposal.
