Richard Guy
Technical
Richard spent the early part of his career with Marconi, Cambridge Computer Lab
and Analytical Instruments focusing on hardware design and development. Working
with John, Richard developed, from scratch, a portable data collection terminal
for in-vehicle and driver input, and then designed and developed driver logbooks
for a New Zealand distributor, approved by the NZ Government for use as an electronic
logbook. The first unit to be so approved.
